Please follow this guide and complete the paperwork requested by the Romanian Customs Authorities to ensure a faster clearance and delivery of your shipment.

Goods for official use of the diplomatic mission and the consular office, and goods for the personal use of diplomats and their families, are exempted from customs control at entrance to the country (as well as exit), in line with international conventions to which Romania is party and based on reciprocity.

Unaccompanied diplomatic mail must meet the following criteria:

• Must bear "diplomatic correspondence" sau "official mail" inscriptions;
• Seals of the shipper diplomatic mission;
• Diplomatic stamp of the country of origin;
• Label with "diplomatic carrier page" number;
• Contain only official documents or items for official use.
