Re-import after temporary export

This section offers the necessary information for the legal entities that want to re-import goods to Romania which were temporary exported.

Please follow this guide and complete the paperwork requested by the Romanian Customs Authorities to ensure a faster clearance and delivery of your shipment.

Re-importing temporarily exported goods means their total or partial return in the same condition (same technical, economical, quality specifications).

Required documents

The importer must register the following documents at the customs office once the temporary export is over or partially over:

  • Customs declaration with which the temporary export was made - provided by the importer;
  • Proforma invoice for temporary export -provided by the importer;
  • Parcels list stating the content of each package if the goods are packed in more then one package - made by the exporter;
  • Proofing documents that the goods haven't been modified (proforma invoice, catalogues, leaflets, etc.) - provided by the importer;
  • Company registration certificate and fiscal registration certificate -provided by the importer;
  • Request to customs for re-import -provided by the importer.
