- What does Zone 1, 2 and 3 in Bucharest Express mean?
- These are the zones which Pegasus have divided Bucharest into for cost and transit time purposes. The higher zone transit time and price will apply. Example: A shipment collected in Zone 1 and delivered in Zone 3, the Zone 3 price and transit time will be applied.
- How can I pay for my shipping?
- You can either pay with cash or by bank transfer. Credit cards are currently not accepted but will be in due course.
- Can I send money via Pegasus?
- We do not accept money for transportation. If you do send money, Pegasus will take no liability for any claim made on the shipment.
- How should I package my shipment?
Always pack safely and carefully!
To make sure that your parcel will arrive safety at the destination, please read the following information:

Package the content so that it won’t move inside.

Pay attention when you send fluids, please use only robust packing materials! We suggest you use wood or cardboard boxes with polystyrene protective material.

Ensure that the metal articles are packed in wooden boxes.

Shipments sent via Pegasus receive a lot of handling due to the fast nature of our business. Please ensure that all your shipments are packaged as well as possible. Pegasus will take no liability for any broken or damaged contents. It is the shipper responsibility to ensure the shipment is correctly packed for transportation.

- What is the maximum weight that i can send by Pegasus Global Express mode?
Maximum weight per piece is 30 kilograms.
Length* and Girth** combined may not exceed 274 cm (108 in). No individual dimension may exceed 158 cm (62 in).
* Length is the longest side of the package or object.
** Girth is the distance all around the package at the widest point perpendicular to the length.
Maximum weight per shipment may vary according to destination country.

- What papers are necessary for Pegasus Global Express Import?

- How do I report a loss/damage claim for a Pegasus shipment that failed to arrive, or was damaged?
- Please send the claim by fax for the attention of Client Service department detailing the transport document number and the reason for the claim. Claims must be received within 30 days of the shipments collection date.
- How much does it cost to insure a shipment?
- Insurance can be obtained by paying 1% of the value declared on the transport document.
- What is the maximum value per shipment?
- The maximum value allowed for each shipment varies by destination. For more information please contact Customer Service. For International Shipping the maximum shipment value allowed is $50,000.
- What items are prohibited for carriage?
- The following commodities are NOT acceptable for transport by Pegasus under any circumstances: animals, antiques (breakable and/or fragile), asbestos, bullion, money, firearms, parts thereof and ammunition, furs, hazardous or combustible materials (as defined in IATA regulations), human remains including ashes, jewelry, precious metals and stones, narcotics (illegal), property, the carriage of which is prohibited by any law, regulation or statute of any federal, state or local government of any country to or through which the shipment may be carried.
- What is Volumetric Weight?
You may be sending a large, lightweight shipment where its volumetric (or dimensional) weight exceeds its actual weight. If so, the cost of the shipment will be calculated on the space your consignment takes up on the vehicle. The chargeable weight is the larger of the actual or volumetric weights.
