This section offers the necessary information for the legal entities that want to re-export goods from Romania.
Please follow this guide and complete the paperwork requested by the Romanian Customs Authorities to ensure a faster clearance and delivery of your shipment.
Re-export of foreign goods consists in taking out the goods from the country by handing in the re-export custom statement, for customs purposes, except when trade policy measures prevent this.
The re-export is strictly operated at the request of the authorized person by handing in a custom declaration to the customs authorities specifying the destination of the goods (PEGASUS - GDA private procedure).
Note: Foreign goods that are on the Romanian territory, but haven't been cleared through customs, can be re-exported. Goods that weren't cleared through customs can be abandoned with the agreement of customs authorities, but only in very special cases.
